When I installed SL4.5 on my Dell Latitude CPX J650 laptop (512MB), I
added IceWM from the standard GUI install menu. It was properly listed
on the Sessions menu of the default GUI login page, and worked nicely.
After running YUMEX to bring everything up to date, IceWM disappeared
from the Sessions menu. (I'm not suggesting cause and effect, just

Q1: Has anyone successfully added or restored IceWM to the Sessions
menu of SL4.5?
Yes ... or else it wouldn't have been there. The IceWM that is in S.L. has it
there by default.
Q2: If so, how?
you need the files
/usr/share/xsessions/icewm.desktop
/usr/share/apps/switchdesk/Xclients.icewm
Educated guesses are welcome.
