Backing out of the krb5-libs packages permitted dovecot to work again. However it now has problems with selinux. In diagnosing the previous
problem I disable selinux.  After fixing the problem rebooting required
selinux to "relable".  After that selinux denies dovecot access to some
critical files.

Any suggestions?

dovecot-1.0-1.2.rc15.el5.x86_64
