You should have several programs to burn the iso using a GUI, the most popular being k3b. But, there is also a better way to burn it with the command line.

cdrecord -v dev=/dev/cdrom SL.DISC1.iso

I am trying to install SL 4.5. I have downloaded and stored to local hard

drive 5 files: SL.45.*.discN.iso, N=1,..,5
If I simply drag these to a blank CD icon, I don't seem to get a bootable
 CD.
How to make the bootable installation CDs ?

Thanks
