Hi,

hi

i m using proxy server to allow internet access to my clients. It worked
fine for two years but now what is happening my clients are getting an error message while opening browser. That error is "cache access denied". i tried using the following command: 1 echo "">/var/log/squid/cache.log

2. squid -z after clearing cache.

None of the above will help with that error, you should check out your ACL's
in /etc/squid/squid.conf to see what rules you've put in place ie. what
networks/subnets are allowed, etc.

Regards,

Michael.

I agree with Michael. The word "cache" refers to the squid cache, and "cache access denied" means your access rules prohibit some access to it.

it starts working . But now same problem encountered again . Where is the problem?
