Greetings. I notice that Dag has created an RPM for numpy:

I noticed that Scientific Linux has created an rpm for numpy, and that it is a newer version than the one in dag.
:)

Does anybody know of an RPM for scipy?

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# yum --enablerepo=* list | grep -i scipy
    [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]#

When we were putting numpy into the release, it was pretty vague as to what was going on with scipy and numpy, so we just put in numpy. But it looks now like scipy is based off numpy and everything has been straightened out. So it would make sense to put it into the repo if people want it. It wouldn't go in officially until SL 5.3, but it could start out in contrib.

It looks like it currently is in epel if you don't want to wait.
