Hi Jon,

Where did you get your libgcrypt-1.4.4-5.el5 from. (Either a distro name or a URI would be helpful) and did you have to do an rpm rebuild before installing?

I got the copies from a (local) mirror of the sl5.4 tree...

If you don't have access to a faster mirror then the following URIs will probably work for you:

for i386:

ftp://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/54/i386/SL/libgcrypt-1.4.4-5.el5.i386.rpm

ftp://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/54/i386/SL/libgcrypt-devel-1.4.4-5.el5.i386.rpm

for x86_64:

ftp://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/54/x86_64/SL/libgcrypt-1.4.4-5.el5.i386.rpm

ftp://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/54/x86_64/SL/libgcrypt-1.4.4-5.el5.x86_64.rpm

ftp://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/54/x86_64/SL/libgcrypt-devel-1.4.4-5.el5.i386.rpm

ftp://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/54/x86_64/SL/libgcrypt-devel-1.4.4-5.el5.x86_64.rpm

depending on whether you have the -devel packages installed as well...
