Sometime in the last few weeks I have lost the ability to add new users. I get an error message that passwd and shadow are different. Ran "pwconv" same error mesage and it flages gpasswd and gshadow are different.
Could not find equivalent of "pwconv" for updating gshadow. When I looked in "/etc/gpasswd" there are a number of "users" that are group that are not listed. This system has worked perfectly since we got over the install glitch for "nvidea" mother boards. How can this be fixed and any idea where the problem came from? I need to add users tonight.
