Hi,
Has anyone had any experience with V4L, more specifically, interfacing a Mightex USB camera?

I'm trying to incorporate a image acquisition module in to some software I'm developing and I'm having difficulty with the camera. Mightex has provided some support, with drivers and example programs. I have installed the driver and libraries, and I can compile the example programs flawlessly. But when executing the examples, the camera still can't be found.

I looked at the source code, and it is looking for "/dev/video0", which doesn't exist. My guess this is an issue with V4L and I'm not familiar with it and really haven't been able to find much on truobleshooting it on the web. Does anyone have any experience with this or know where to start testing to see if V4L is operating appropriately?

I also have an Andor camera that I'll be focusing on and it appears to have some issues as well. I've not devoted substansial time but running the sample programs for it produces the following error:

/usr/local/lib/libandor.so: undefined reference to `__isoc99_ssc...@glibc_2.7'

Any insight or suggestions for either of these issues will be greatly appreciated!
