For SL6 LiveCD/DVD, it's called "live_ram". It's really a nice feature in case you have enough RAM, but needs some time to load the LiveCD/DVD into RAM at startup. Now documented at http://www.livecd.ethz.ch/parameter.html Cheers, Urs
