Hello Phil,
I've taken some time to package correctly the synchronisation tool. It can be downloaded here: ftp://ftp.lip6.fr/pub/linux/distributions/slsoc/soc/SRPMS/dim-1.0-1.slsoc6.src.rpm ftp://tp.lip6.fr/pub/linux/distributions/slsoc/soc/i386/RPMS/dim-1.0-1.slsoc6.noarch.rpm The GPG signing key is: ftp://ftp.lip6.fr/pub/linux/distributions/slsoc/6x/i386/os/RPM-GPG-KEY-jpc The package itself contains three tools. The synchronizer is "yumsync". I've also supplied a documentation in html & pdf format. The doc is also available online here: http://ftp.lip6.fr/pub/linux/distributions/slsoc/6x/dim/doc/Manual/ Regards, > > I've also a tool to perform what I call "strict-synchronisation". > > Yum is not able to remove packages once they are installed, it can > > only upgrade or downgrade them.
