Hello,
For SL6 there is now a java plugin. That plugin is called icedtea-web.
This package is already in SL 6.1. There are enough SL 6.0 users want
this, that I figured I'd put it into testing, so SL 6.0 users could
install it if they want.
Since this isn't a security errata, there is currently no plans to put
this into the SL 6.0 security updates.
To test or update
SL6

yum --enablerepo=sl-testing install icedtea-web
or you can download rpm's by hand at
