Hello, while trying to apply the updates from today, it appears that one of the updated packages, spice-server-0.8.0-1.el6.x86_64 requires pixman>= 0.18, but only pixman-0.16.6-1.el6.x86_64 is provided, so the updates fail:# yum update Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit Setting up Update Process Resolving Dependencies --> Running transaction check ---> Package qemu-img.x86_64 2:0.12.1.2-2.160.el6_1.2 set to be updated ---> Package qemu-kvm.x86_64 2:0.12.1.2-2.160.el6_1.2 set to be updated ---> Package spice-server.x86_64 0:0.8.0-1.el6 set to be updated --> Processing Dependency: pixman>= 0.18 for package: spice-server-0.8.0-1.el6.x86_64 ---> Package vgabios.noarch 0:0.6b-3.6.el6 set to be updated --> Finished Dependency Resolution Error: Package: spice-server-0.8.0-1.el6.x86_64 (sl-security) Requires: pixman>= 0.18 Installed: pixman-0.16.6-1.el6.x86_64 (@anaconda-ScientificLinux-201103021619.x86_64/6) pixman = 0.16.6-1.el6 You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest I'm getting this on both x86_64 boxes I tried. thanks, geoff
I apologize for that. We have updated everything so all the dependences are available. We have also tested all the dependencies.
Everything should update now. You might have to do a yum clean all before everything shows up correctly.
