Hello,
The Upstream Vendor has released an updated rsync, that fixes the previous bug. That is now in this same testing area.

rsync-3.0.6-4.el5_7.1

We would appreciate those who had problems with the previous rsync to test this and let us know if it fixes the bug for them.

  yum --enablerepo=sl-testing clean all
  yum --enablerepo=sl-testing update rsync

Thanks
Troy

Hello,
When a new update comes out, all of the security errata that comes out
with it, needs a little extra attention. But that doesn't mean that
others can't help out in the testing and/or get the packages before they
go into the normal security update area.

I have put all of the upcoming security updates for SL5 into the testing
area, so that people can test and/or use these updates.
