libparted 3.0

Has anyone built parted 3.0 with libparted 3.0 and support for disks 
with other than 512 byte sectors on SL 6.x, and in particular, SL 6.1 
X86-64?  Or, the equivalent CentOS, RHEL, or PUIAS distributions?
