I do have them installed.

I've tried to build tarball file from
http://kile.sourceforge.net/download.php, and it's just the same.  I think
it is some where in the KDE-related stuffs, but I don't know which/what
parts.  Kate editor has exactly the same Tools and Settings interface, and
behaves similarly with Kile.
