How do I turn off these background updates?

From the header of file /etc/init.d/yum-autoupdate:

Turn off
service yum-autoupdate stop
chkconfig --del yum-autoupdate

Hi Artifex,

RPM says yum-autoupdate is installed:

$ rpm -qa \*yum-auto\*
yum-autoupdate-2-4.2.noarch

But, it is not in init.d

$ ls /etc/rc.d/init.d | grep -i auto
$

Anyway, disabling it in /etc/init.d/yum-autoupdate
seems to have done the trick. My VM are still
here this morning and flash-plugin is still
on the prior version.

Thank you for the help,
