To nit-pick the wording, of course there are non-grub bootloaders available for SL6. syslinux/extlinux/pxelinux is a good alternative for when you are tired of guessing "grub (hd0) is which disk today on this machine?" or tired of debugging "boot error 1" GRUB errors or need to boot memtest on a large memory machine, or need to boot from the network. -- Konstantin Olchanski Data Acquisition Systems: The Bytes Must Flow!
