I just ran into this myself. Reading through the dataeng init script eventually led to /opt/dell/srvadmin/sbin/CheckSystemType. Touching /opt/dell/srvadmin/lib64/openmanage/IGNORE_GENERATION triggered an override and let OMSA start up properly. Hopefully it does the same for you. -Mike
