Bonjour,

When trying to boot from an usb key containing
SL-63-i386-2012-08-02-boot.iso
on /dev/sdX
using boot options
linux text
anaconda dies with code 11
which means memory problems ( because I only have 1GB RAM).

I already once met this problem when trying to install
SL-63-i386-2012-08-02-Everything-DVD1.iso
SL-63-i386-2012-08-02-Everything-DVD2.iso
using DVD reader unit

At that time , I suspected that 1GB RAM was not enough and I added
a swap of 2.5GB, as recommended by
http://ftp1.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/documents/tuv/6/Installation.Guide.html#s2-diskpartrecommend-x86

Now when trying to boot from
SL-63-i386-2012-08-02-boot.iso
writen on an usbstick ( /dev/sdX)
I need to request use of a swap at early boot-time.
( DVD hardware is down)

Can a pre-existing swap space be requested using boot options or before boot,
when running
SL-63-i386-2012-08-02-boot.iso
?

Is there an another solution?

Thank you for the help.

Charles
