Doug, I am a little confused. I already have
adobe-release-x86_64-1.0-1.noarch.rpm installed on my system because I have the adobe repository enabled. But I only have the i386 flash-player installed, because SL 5.5 apparently didn't support the x86_64 player yet and depended on nspluginwrapper. I have gone to the adobe website and tried the YUM download of: flash-plugin-11.2.202.243-release.x86_64 but all I get is a copy of the 'adobe-release' rpm. I don't think I want to install that over the existing YUM version, do I? I have also downloaded the 'tar.gz' version of the plugin, but I hesitate to install it because of possible conflicts with the i386 plugin. I would appreciate any advice. T.
