There is one package called 'cernlib' in epel. That appears to be a version that misses a few of the original libraries, and if I understood it correctly includes a few bug fixes and improvements. It is available for both architectures. Then there is a build that covers more of the original libraries, but has no recent bug fixes or improvements,and is only available for i686.
