I don't run SL yet (we run Fedora for application reasons, migrating to a RHEL derivative in the future), it was a test blade for a single purpose that needed to be online ASAP. So no, it's not laziness, it's dealing with 1199 other servers and all the infrastructure for a very large organization with a team of 2.
