In looking at my previous post, it occurred to me that =93fsck didn=92t = help=94 was not very explanatory. fsck finds no errors on /dev/sda6 (my / file system) fsck found and fixed 2 errors in my /dev/sda7 (home) file system. I=92ve run this on both several times today, and it finds them both = clean every time now. It still will not boot. =20=
Have you tried commenting out all of the lines in the fstab that are not needed for booting. You should verify that /dev/sda6 and /dev/sda7 are the actual partitions that you think they are.
