-e has been around from primordial times. I am guessing that either
xterm ignored the xec on -exec before.. or it was a hidden feature not
in the man page.

Thank you!

When I am writing these things, I prefer to use the long names
over the short ones as it makes life easier when you are trying
to figure out what you did years later.  :'(
