After reading your email, I tried installing Acrobat Reader 9.5.5 on a fresh SL 7 system and the only problem I encountered was that the depreciated pangox libraries are no longer included with the pango package. I compiled the library from source and once I ensured all the dependencies were met, I had no issue starting up acroread. In your case, the repository you added provides a suitable pangox-compat package, so as you seem to describe, yum should have automatically taken care of the dependency resolution. Can you post the output you receive when you try running "acroread" in a terminal? Brandon Vincent
