Hello everybody,

we are using ScientificLinux with IceWM on one of our servers to provide a remote desktop with more computing power. We are using X2Go for the connection. Our problem is that nautilus doesn't provide access to special filesystems like trash:// or smb://. Everytime we open one of them we get a prompt with "Operation not supported". We already found that the problem has to do with the gvfs backend or the dbus connection to these services. Nautilus works with all features if we start it with:

dbus-launch --exit-with-session nautilus

We are now searching for a solution with a higher usability. The best way would be to start the whole icewm session with dbus-launch. But all tests to add a command like:

dbus-launch --sh-syntax --exit-with-session icewm-session

to .xinitrc didn't change anything.

Do you have any idea who to fix this issue?

Best regards,
Andreas Ihrig
