Greeting Community

I currently have several workstations running SL7.2 and have users running different desktop environments. (i. e. GNOME-Shell, XFCE, and KDE). When a user chooses to use XFCE or KDE we are forced to additional applications such as xscreensaver to lock the screen. Since we are also implementing smart card access on our systems along with using IPA for authentication, it has become evident will need GDM's lock screen feature. Is there a way to call the GDM lock screen from within XFCE or KDE?

I have found one recommended solution using the dbus-launch command, but it does not work because it looking for a ScreenLock object which does not exist.

Any suggestions or solutions you may have will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
