Cloud 9's latest series "The New Tomorrow" has wrapped. Final filming took place in the second week of September. The first episode of The New Tomorrow will be screening on Seven in Australia on 17th September from 11.00am 12.00pm. It will also be screening on Shake on FIVE on Sunday's from 2nd Oct at 11.05am! The new website will be up soon http://www.thenewtomorrow.net The New Tomorrow (26 x 30'), is a children's sci-fi adventure series. The new series starts from the same premise as The Tribe - a world with no adults, in which children have to re-create their own society. This new version will be aimed at a younger audience of 8- 12 year olds. The new version of the series sees three main tribes of children: The Barbs, a primitive bunch of kids; The Ants, a disparate bunch of children hanging on to the past; and The Priviledged, described as a "slightly decadent, hedonistic gang". In contrast to The Tribe's disused shopping mall setting, The New Tomorrow's backdrop is snow-capped mountains, streams and rolling landscape. Many of the crew that worked on The Tribe were back for this series - some of them having recently completed their work on Peter Jackson's King Kong.
