I agree, but they are trying to take the risk out of movie making ( 
crazy huh?)  and test audiences say it is too complex the "dumb it 
down"  I think Lost and Heroes appeal to a large broad audience with 
enough of the most desirable target audience to allow it to work.  I 
also think the formula for a blockbuster and a hit TV show are somewhat 
different.  Please note:  I'm not saying anyone really knows what those 
formula's are.
