I agree. It¹s all about ³Life² for me. Life gets an ³A¹. Didn¹t expect to be completely invested in these characters (great choice of words, invest¹) and what alienates the critics is the accurate use of Zen in the Cop show format. This is an updated ³Kung Fu². Sadly, it¹s a DIRECT update, as the Zen figure is a white male, but It¹s the only show in NBC¹s lineup that is completely in a 21st Century context. The main character being uncomfortable wit things like mobile phones leads to a great series of gags in between the drama. I loved, loved this show.
³Bionic Woman², or what should be called ³BattlestarGa-wolverine², was unimaginative and is only going to be a hit with people who don¹t read comics. This show¹s idea has been done by every publisher on the planet. And with hotter looking women. They can take this show off the air and bring the nano-tech effects to Galactica. They were shiny.
