A few months ago I wrote a eulogy for Dennis Letts, a friend, teacher and
mentor who had passed. One of his life long dreams was to appear in a play on
Broadway. His son Tracy wrote the play that got him there. This year that play
won the Pulitzer prize for drama and tonight it one multiple Tony Awards for
direction, acting and best play. I could not be prouder of my old friend and
classmate Tracy but even more I could not be happier for Dennis who's life
ended on such an amazing professional and personal high note.

I had to share with someone and while it's off topic, I thought some of you
might like to know.
