Back in the day when Bush 41 was running against Dukakis for president, there was a political cartoon commenting on his choice of Dan Quayle for vice president. In the cartoon Bush is portrayed as a Douglas MacArthuresque military hawk. He has his wing around a little chicken-hawk representing Quayle. The caption reads: "Here's something for the chicks!"
