I wondered...until I saw him answer the question with Elvis Mitchell on
Charlie Rose. 


He did it in the plays and it was a hit. People laughed and came back for
more. It's that simple. He has given the Madea character a bit of a rest he
says. We'll see. If something works, you stick with it.

Tyler Perry is the exception that proves the rule. He will remain an
