I debated going to see it, though as Martin and i discussed, I'm tiring of the young handsome vampyr and his mortal love theme. But not having read the books, I was unsure. Then i read a few reviews, such as Roger Ebert's, which was titled "Young girls and their mothers will love vapid 'Twilight'". Then I watched the news last night and it showed how the cast has been mobbed on publicity tours by literally thousands of screaming young teen girls. And i saw theatre shots with audiences packed with what was indeed excited young lassies and their mothers, and i decided to take a pass. Let me know if it's any good, and when someone does a *good* update of "Nosferatu" or "Salem's Lot", count me in!
