And, speaking of PBS, are you getting anything off PBS 30 other than an
advisory to the folks in Winder as to what to do if they're not getting a

And I have a weird problem where there's an *obvious* lag in people's lips
moving onscreen and when I hear the sound. It's on PBS a great deal, and now
I've noticed it on the local ABC affiliate as well...

I get the same problems as Keith, and I'm in the eastern metro part of
Atlanta. Those are the problems I can accept with Comcrap service. It's the
loss of volume on some channels, loss of signal on others (in my case, *lots*
of others) that draws the brunt of my complaints.

Not here in northeast Atlanta where I live. I do get some picture freezing and
pixelation every now and then, but it's usually only a second or so. I
attribute that to the fact that my cable runs across the street along with
power lines, and I think the wind sometimes makes it move and jack up the
signal for a sec. Have you contacted the cable company?

In my area signal loss happens multiple times a day now. Basically it is
complete signal loss on all channels anywhere from a few seconds to a few
minutes. It happened during the playoffs a couple of years ago and I missed the
last 30 seconds of the game!!! Do you have this problem where you live?
