"I Am Curious (insert concept)" is a title that's been used for a *lot* of
different type of books and movies of all stripes! :)

Yeah...and who can forget that dramatically stark title--

"I Am Curious (Black)!"

Yes, the exclamation mark was part of the title.

I can't believe you remember that! That was what? Back in the '70s, when
polyester and bell bottoms were in vogue? I remember that comic clearly. In
investigating some event in the black community, Lois realizes she can't enter
that world. There's a scene where she sits next to an elderly, blind black
woman on a park bench. The lady is very pleasant, chatting amiably--until Lois
speaks, at which point she takes her cane and huffs off. Lois thinks "once he
heard me speak she realized I wasn't black". Thus, she goes to Superman to use
some stupid device of his to temporarily make her black. If I remember
correctly, a militant community activist earlier had pointed to Lois as she
walked by a rally, calling her the enemy. He's later shot by some thug type
(probably a former best friend or brother gone awry), and Lois has to give him
some of her blood for him to live. At that point she was still in blackface
(body?) The last panels of the book are when he awakens to see the *white* Lois
standing over him, and finally clasps her hand in a signal of racial solidarity
and tolerance.

Brings a tear to my eye! (Sniff)

Does the time Lois turned herself into a black woman count?

Off the top, John Henry Irons (Steel), John Stewart and Vixen. But I
will accord you your second point.

Just out of curiosity, can anyone remember a significant POC that
Superman interacted with on a regular basis?

Super or non. Seriously, is Metropolis just the least metrpolutan city
in the world?
