i agree with Townsend's Lestat. he was kind of kool.....but i think the movie should never had been named "Queen of the Damned." it should have been 'Lestat the Vampire' just as the book was titled. to only show Akasha in the last 30 minutes of the movie was a total disappointment.

I liked "Interview with the Vampire" despite pipsqueak Cruise as Lestat (Ann Rice envisioned a young Rutger Hauer). I rather enjoyed Stuart Townsend's rock star take in "Queen of the Damned" (a damned good movie to watch with the sound off). Anyhoo, I am rather geeked by the prospect of the worldly Downey playing the otherworldly Lestat.
