To be honest, I totally forgot about the movie when I posted that. I don't think that a studio has the budget to pull off another full scale tv show. Not unless there is a serious calling for it. At this point a new show would cost somewhere close to $10 million an episode unless they shoot it at an extremely low budget in the Canadian forest.
Do you remember reading that Matt Damon was supposed to play Kirk on a tv show before the movie came out? Or was that just misinformation?
