Go to www.persecution.org and check it out. More Christians are being persecuted now than in the past.
Study Buddhism. There are a zillion sects. Americans tend to think only of Zen Buddhism but there are so much more. Hinduism is a religion of syncretism and has zillions of sects and zillions of gods. They believe in accepting all religions, however. In that they differ from Christianity which states that Jesus is the only savior. Every religion has sub-groups and to say that only Christianity doesn't is disingenuous, Chris. You only know the western world and the western interpretation of things so you don't know what you're talking about. You really don't. And as for Christian persecution complex, you're also being disingenuous. As a black person and as a student of media, we all grew up seeing how slickly hated racism can be packaged. We knew how to follow plot lines and to see how subtly racist it all was. EVERY movie or TV show that shows Christians show some very prejudiced writing. Why is every Bible believer on TV stupid, ignorant, hypocritical, judgemental, not educated enough for this world, a sex molestor etc. They did this to Jews before WWII, they did it in old movies such as Birth of a Nation. If you have eyes to see, you will see that modern literature's treatment of Christians is priming the world to persecute us. Or are you willfully blind to this? -C --- In [email protected], "Chris Hayden" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > <<The persecution complex of Christians is their most troubling > trait--I think this comes of all those years of persecution at the > hands of the Romans being passed down and Christians don't know when > they have won-- > > > Everything you said is irrelevant, and you throw up about Buddhists > and Hindus because you either can't stand the truth or you think I > am an ignorant pagan.
