True. But since I read about that particular way back in the day, am kinda not inclined to go back and examine it to do a parody. A) Examining it would open some wounds I don't want to open (although Katrina and Gretna have done that a bit) B) if I'm going to parody or pay homage to something I want to know it well before I delve, and C)I've got four stories, two novels, and two nonfiction books to work on. I'd rather do the stories I have now "well" rather than try to put something else on my plate. I can't just zip off a meaningful story that quickly...And to put off some other stuff just to get into an antho which calls people to the works of someone I personally cannot stand....well, I trow not. I do kinda understand what the editor is aiming for...kinda.
