Juan, I don't think we're there yet for 1.0, though :). From my standpoint, several important aspects (metaparams handling, API, xy->rc, etc) have to be addressed first (see `discussion` tag on GitHub). Stefan, Has the schedule been changed? I remember we were planning to release 0.14 in November 2017 (see https://mail.python.org/pipermail/scikit-image/2017-September/005352.html).
