This sounds very reasonable to me. Theano is still aiming for 2.4 support 
because some of our lab's industrial collaborators are still running ancient 
Red Hat, but the more other packages in the ecosystem go 2.6+, the better, and 
the less of a case old holdouts will have (which, until next week, includes us 
-- Fedora Core 9/Py 2.5.1, uggggh).

So, while I've contributed I think one measly data loader, count me +1.
