Yes, this information should be integrated to the docs. It's a question of man power: it has to be written up, organized and cross-referenced. We of course fully encourage such pull requests: I think that ideally we should have at least, if not more, pull request related to the docs than to the code itself. I should note that I don't believe in a wiki: it is hard to maintain, keep up to date, and doctest.
