Hi folks, I'm scheduled to lead a scikit-learn tutorial at the pydata workshop at the Googleplex this Saturday. I'm planning to go through introductory machine learning concepts with scikit-learn, focusing on astronomical data for the examples and exercises.
For this purpose, I've been developing an html tutorial to use as a framework, parts of it drawing heavily from Olivier's tutorial. It's still a bit rough, especially from an organizational standpoint, and I need to add some exercises, but I think it's getting close. If you have a few minutes to look it over, I'd really appreciate some feedback as I add the finishing touches this week. Also, as there's no way I'll get through all of it in a two hour tutorial, I'd like feedback on which parts you think I should focus on! The source repository is at http://github.com/jakevdp/scikit-learn/tree/sklearn-tutorial And the html build of the tutorial can be found at http://jakevdp.github.com/tutorial/astronomy/ Thanks!
