If possible I'd rather avoid that (can create bugs hard to find).
It seems to me that a simple way to avoid the problem would be to do:
coef_ = self.coef_
outside any for loop. That way the cost of computing the coef_ is
hopefully negligeable.
Do you think that this could work?
