Hi All, The mid-term evaluation is nearing. The deadline for evaluation is next Friday.
I must confess that I do not have a clear view of what has been going on with the different projects. This is partly due to the fact that I have been travelling and giving talks continuously for the last month. However, given that the students have not been to good at writting clear progress reports or discussing their roadblocks, I find it hard to follow what is going on. As a reminder, the PSF wants all its students to write a weekly progress report as a blog post. So I am asking to the students (Vlad, Imanuel and David): how are you doing with respect to the goals that you had set for the mid-term evaluation? Vlad, I have seen that you have sent a summary email. This is very useful. On the list of goals that you had set up in your proposal for mid-term, which one do you think that you have achieved, and which one need more work before Friday? Imanuel and David, could you please do a small update of how things are going with regards to the goals that you set up for the mid-term evaluation. It's less than a week away and it's important that you achieve your objectives. Cheers, Gael PS: I am sure that you have had similar conversations with your mentors. I just think that it is useful to have them on the mailing list, as you can benefit from advice of a larger group of people. PPS: maybe it is more useful to create 3 different discussion threads on the mailing list. In other words: if you can avoid replying to my message, and create a new thread it's probably better. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
