Hi everybody.
Those of you who watch the issue tracker might have noticed that we (I) am a bit behind on schedule for the next release, 0.13. I'd really like to release quite soon as a lot of things accumulated already.

I would really like to branch for the release Monday next week, i.e. on the *14th of January*.

Ideally I'd like to get some bugs fixed ASAP an then release.

I wouldn't want to release with what I think are some quite nasty bugs, but otherwise
I don't see a reason to wait much longer.

Now that my fix for https://github.com/scikit-learn/scikit-learn/issues/1411
is in, I'd like to investigate https://github.com/scikit-learn/scikit-learn/issues/1476 and
a problem in pickling Forests, that Paul raised on the ML.

I tried to really weed out the issues for 0.13 and only leave what I feel is really important.
You can find them here:
https://github.com/scikit-learn/scikit-learn/issues?milestone=7&sort=updated&state=open

I'll try to address as many as possible of them today.

Best,
Andy
