It's not a matter of DNS, it's a matter of handling redirects when we
change the structure of the documentation: e.g. when we rename a
module or a package, we can put a redirect from the old name to the
new name in the sphinx URL structure so has not to break incoming
links from stackoverflow, blog posts and comments, quora, tweets,
whatever.

However I don't think we actually maintain that set of URL redirects
actively so I don't think it's that an important a feature of
sourceforge.
