It's not a matter of DNS, it's a matter of handling redirects when we change the structure of the documentation: e.g. when we rename a module or a package, we can put a redirect from the old name to the new name in the sphinx URL structure so has not to break incoming links from stackoverflow, blog posts and comments, quora, tweets, whatever. However I don't think we actually maintain that set of URL redirects actively so I don't think it's that an important a feature of sourceforge. -- Olivier http://twitter.com/ogrisel - http://github.com/ogrisel ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Symantec Endpoint Protection 12 positioned as A LEADER in The Forrester Wave(TM): Endpoint Security, Q1 2013 and "remains a good choice" in the endpoint security space.
