Hi: I have a working implementation of GNG (Growing Neural Gas) that I used for some past projects. Its roughly based on the sklearn interface, but since it was for me only, its not polished to all coding standards, and is not super optimized. I would be more than happy to modified it as necessary to include it in sklearn, of course respecting all coding and testing guidelines. Since this is sure to be a time-consuming process, I would like to know if this would be an interesting feature for the project and the community.
