Dear Michael ,dear all,

I am just writing to say that the algorithms that I am proposing can be
very interesting because at least in my limited experience they are very
used in the industry (I have experience with pharmaceutical and
manufacturing companies).

I have been working on these topics for a lot of time and so I know them
pretty well. They will all be part of my phd thesis.

In my opinion I do not necessarily need a mentor with a deep understanding
of the proposed methods but I will definitively need support from the
coding point of view.
I think that a person with a very good knowledge of python and sklearn will
be enough to mentor me.

Said that let me know if this project is not going to take place so that I
can apply for another topic. (It would be a pity because this topic is the
one for which I am most qualified).

Let me know.
All the best,
Luca
